Johanna ter Steege is also in Bernard Rose's uneven Beethoven biopic 'Immortal Beloved'. An under-rated but radiant actress.

You'd be right if these were ALL the faces I loved. I adore Ellen Burnstyn, Vanessa Redgrave, Anette Bening and Glenn Close, too. I love my Mom's face, but she isn't working in the film industry. Relax, Ruth.

Ha ha, Syb. You got me there!

Sorry for stealing your thunder, Dennis. Perhaps Jack Elam would be a good "ugly" replacement? ;)

Peet, I love that shot of Johanna ter Steege. I loved her in THE VANIHING and VINCENT AND THEO, but I don't think I've seen her in anything else. As for Guzman, you stole my thunder on that one... :)!

Elena Anaya is looking good Peet, but you should have chosen another picture. There are much better pictures...
Suggestion: http://i.imdb.com/Photos/Ss/0338526/VHOSLG_VHBTS5Medium.jpg ?

I absolutely agree on Johanna Ter Steege. One of the (many) reasons why the original Dutch version of "the Vanishing" is such a brilliant movie is the fact that, though she's only in the first 5 minutes of the movie (well, approx.), she makes such a great impression that her radiant face stays with you for the rest of the movie (and makes the whole, obsessive search understandable, even necessary)
